The U.S, Embassy's Education and Cultural Specialist plays a key role in supporting the planning, development and implementation of a board range of U.S. Government funded programs and activities in partnership with the Bahamian government, civil society, business, academics and cultural entities.

Successful applicants will have an extensive knowledge of Bahamian politics, educational structures, history and contemporary culture is required. A firm understanding of U.S. society, culture, education, political processes and foreign policy concerns in highly desirable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in cultural or informational media activities, public relations, university teaching, jounalism or related fields.

Senior Trust Officer

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to a Trust Administration Team Leader, the position is responsible for the ongoing administration of trust and fiduciary products and services to clients of Citi's Private Banking and Global Consumer divisions. Key responsibilities include liaising with Relationship Managers to provide information, execute transactions and resolve problems, managing all associated risks, and, preparing and presenting periodic administration reviews of trust and companies. Additional responsibilities include liaising with internal Compliance and Business Risk Management teams and external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS REQUIRED

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field and a minimum of 7-10 years of related experience; STEP designation is an asset. Excellent knowledge of fundamental trust law, company law and related administration practices combined with a solid working knowledge of banking products, investment instruments, credit concepts and accounting concepts is also required. This will be complemented by excellent client-facing, analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, problem solving and language (Spanish/ Portuguese/ Mandarin) skills.
